Does Sarah Palin have a chance?

Does Sarah Palin have a realistic chance of being elected in 2012? Would like to hear from everyone, my personal opinion is it depends on how much worse things get first during the next 2 years, if they continue going down people will listen, if not then it's unlikely.

She might have a chance but she'll face stiff opposition from the Republican Establishment, people like Mitt Romney I think are going to have another shot at the presidential office and it's not so certain she'd be able to get the nomination.

What'd be interesting is if she formed a third party, some sort of Tea Party Coalition and ran on that platform, then it'd come down to if the movement is big enough nationally to support her and if the Tea Party Movement itself would be able to garner enough votes to have a practical impact and restore some fiscal sanity to the USA.

I think this country is ready for someone like her,I think there should be a 3rd party.I just learned of the tea party a few months ago and from what I'm seeing it's growing fast,Ky showed that.I'v been wathching the news about the Az. law,and read it,I don't see what the problem is,it's just common sense.I'm from Pa. and expect to be asked for I.D. when pulled over. And it's a fenony to sneak into mex.! And these idiots are condeming a law they never even read! The way they are going around the world and appolgizing should be treason!

I think she has the best chance that any women has ever had. We need her, but if she would come over to the Teaparty her chances would be even better.

I personnaly dont like sarah palin. I believe she is just as much a self serving politician as any of those other rascals in washington. We need a new face and name, not another politician

Interesting point, I don't really have an opinion because I think it's hard to say... half the problem with the system is you don't know the truth until after they're elected so they can campaign on tea party ideals and then boycott those tea party ideals as soon as they get any power after the movement helps them so it's tricky.

I think maybe a good solution would be to make recalls easier to achieve (for good reasons) so then if someone changes their tune as soon as we help elect them then we can get rid of them faster if necessary. Hard to implement though.
