Tea Party 2010

Where is the Tea Party Protest Movement heading in 2010 in your opinion?

I was thinking about this the other day, and it's a pretty complicated issue. Technically things are progressing but I think during 2010 it will still be slowly rolling along as opposed to seizing total power.

Change will certainly come in the protest movement we're all building together never gives in... but it's going to take some time, just look how politicians from both sides have voted for bills they haven't read and corrupt stimulus packages amongst other things.

So the tea party protest movement will keep rolling along, but I think it might take a bit longer to accomplish its goals, it'll need to be an ongoing multi-year process, not a flash in the pan where we can achieve victory and give up next year. Some protest movements take time... but even if it does take time it's worth fighting for even if it takes longer than 2010.

I think though we're already in 2010 starting to see the protest movement accomplish some of its goals, people can no longer ignore us and eventually they'll have no choice but to have responsible policies or get kicked out by voters, we just need to keep the pressure on all throughout 2010 and beyond anytime someone promotes a wasteful bill on health care or anything else that they couldn't even be bothered to read. We need to use democracy to deal with those who couldn't care less and try to bankrupt America.

Now we're almost in May 2010 as I write this so what do you think, where will the Tea Party be at the end of 2010 realistically?

Hope you all enjoyed my post!

I think it'll be slightly bigger than now at the end of 2010, but nothing too different from now, maybe about 25% , the problem I see it that things are growing a bit slower in 2010 but at least they're still growing solidly... but without any leaders or a national headquarters it's always going to be a hard sell so we'll need lots of energy. Still 2010 is turning out to be a good year all things considered.
